Scholership
  1. National Merit Scholarships-Government of India Scheme
              A Fixed number of National Scholarships are sanctioned to students belonging to this state who are prosecuting their students in Colleges. The selections of candidates are made on the basis of the S.S.L.C. and H.S.C results. Students whose parents satisfy the "means Test" are awarded scholarships every month and those who do not satisfy are paid a prize amount of Rs.100/- and a merit Certificate, provided they are not in receipt of any other scholarship. Their annual income should not exceed Rs.50000/-excluding the standard deduction.


  2. State Scholarship to Children of School Teachers
              Children of the School Teachers are awarded Scholarships provided their parental income does not exceed Rs.50000/-excluding the standard deduction.


  3. State Government Merit Scholarship Scheme
              One student from each course who secures the first place in X standard, Matriculation, A.I.S.L.C; C.B.S.E. and A.I.S.S.C. Examination will 2be awarded this scholarships are awarded till they complete their studies in colleges.


  4. Freedom Fighter's Scholarship
              Students whose parents participated in the emancipation of India and underwent three months imprisonment are eligible for the award for this scholarship besides fee concessions of their studies.


  5. Children of Defence service Personnel
              Children or dependents of service personnel and Ex-servicemen are awarded scholarships and fee concessions subject to certain terms and conditions.


  6. Children of Repatriates from Sri lanka
              Children of Repatriates from Sri Lanka Studying in colleges are awarded scholarship and fee concessions subject to certain terms conditions.


  7. National Loan Scholarships
              This is a merit-cum means based scholarship. The parental income should not exceed Rs.50000/-per annum. Applications are invited every year by notifications in leading dailies.


  8. Adhoc Merit Grant scheme
              An amount of Rs.300/- is sanctioned to students belonging to S.C;S.T and converted Christians and studying the first degree course after passing Higher Secondary Examination in the first attempt securing not less than 60%of aggregate marks. There is no income limit and further renewal.


  9. State Collegiate Scholarships.
              Under this head the following scholarships are being sanctioned.

  7. Special for Lady Wellington Training College Madras
